The Miner’s itinerary is a trekking route that can be lived along the Costa Verde, in the towns of Ingurtosu and Montevecchio. It is a path used by miners to reach the various work sites located along the S.P. ranging from Ingurtosu to Montevecchio such as: Laveria la Marmora, Pozzo Amsicora, Pozzo Fais and Pozzo 92. Even before it was used for agro-pastoral activities. The 2 km long route crosses the Sibingia valley, covered by lush Mediterranean vegetation and sometimes by a thick wood of holm oaks and cork oaks. The typical fauna of the area consists of the deer, the wild boar, the fox, the cat, the wild rabbit, the partridge and the buzzard. For the more experienced it is possible to go horseback riding or mountain biking.
